Episode 2 slows things down a little and focuses more on setting up the characters and political situation, which works well after the intensity of the premiere. I especially liked the balance between the different character interactions, with Tenzou getting some attention while the conflict involving England starts to take shape. The conversations can still feel dense, but there are enough funny moments and character details to keep things interesting.
