The tone is heavy and psychological — less about shock value and more about how institutions fail people who are already vulnerable. If you've watched something like Another Lady Innocent and appreciated a narrative that actually tries to build character context before going dark places, this sits in similar territory. The animation quality holds up well enough to serve the story, and Sumire is written with enough interiority that her situation feels like it matters.
