Himawari Girls Mini Anime
Oshimeter
Synopsis
As members of the Himawari Channel crew, O-chan and Ma-chan join a group of girls trying to balance school, friendships, and their shared dream of making fun online content. That's pretty much the whole setup, and honestly, that's all it needs. Each episode is a short little slice of their daily lives, where the comedy comes from their clashing personalities and the kind of low-stakes chaos that happens when friends spend too much time together. One minute they're planning a video, the next they're arguing over something completely unrelated, and somehow it all circles back to being genuinely funny. The humor is gentle and warm rather than over-the-top, which gives the whole thing a cozy feel you can just sink into without thinking too hard. If you liked the easygoing ensemble comedy of Azumanga Daioh or the friendship dynamics in BanG Dream!, this hits a similar sweet spot, just in much smaller doses. Being an ONA with bite-sized episodes, it's the kind of thing you throw on between longer watches or when you just want something light. The characters are simple but likable enough that you start rooting for their little projects. It's aimed at a younger audience, but there's enough charm here for anyone who appreciates a clean, no-drama comedy about friends just being friends. If you're after something like Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream but stripped down to pure comedic hangout vibes, give this a look.
