📖 SYNOPSIS

"Text Complex" follows a protagonist with a peculiar aversion: she despises the Japanese hiragana character "hee." The mere sight of it causes her distress. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when she unexpectedly enters a parallel world. This new reality mirrors her own, yet it presents a stark contrast. In this alternate dimension, the very "hee" character she loathes exists in a spectacular and thriving form. The anime explores the protagonist's journey through this unfamiliar world, likely examining themes of prejudice, acceptance, and the transformative power of encountering the unexpected. The story originates from the Graduate Work 2019, Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.
