📖 SYNOPSIS
"Ground Defense Force! Mao-chan" follows the adventures of Mao Onigawara, an energetic eight-year-old grade-schooler. As the granddaughter of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Defense Force, Mao finds herself at the forefront of Japan's defense. Equipped with a cloverleaf-shaped badge that allows her to transform, though without any special abilities, Mao and her best friends, the granddaughters of the Chiefs of Staff of the Air and Marine Defense Forces, are tasked with protecting the nation. Their adversaries are "cute aliens," whose overwhelming adorableness poses a unique challenge, making them difficult to combat with standard military tactics. The series explores themes of friendship, duty, and the unexpected challenges of defending against an enemy that is more charming than threatening.
