This episode reveals more about Makoto's past and exposes his biggest weakness. It's an interesting flaw—maybe even a little pathetic—but that's exactly what makes the final scene so impactful. There isn't much Erio in this episode, but it still enjoyable and does a good job of developing Makoto's character.
