📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in a Japan recovering from its economic bubble burst, "Government Crime Investigation Agent Zaizen Jotaro" centers on the fight against corruption. Politicians and businessmen, like Seijiro Matsuzaka and Keiichi Suzuki, respectively, are making illicit deals to profit at the expense of others. The Government Crime Investigation Agency, an independent government body, is tasked with bringing them down. Leading the investigation is Jotaro Zaizen, a police officer presumed dead, who assembles a team of individuals with personal stakes in the case. Facing the GCIA, Suzuki hires the Haoukokuryu-kai, a yakuza group, to protect his interests. The anime explores themes of justice, corruption, and the struggle against powerful figures who exploit the system for personal gain.
