Gokudo
Oshimeter
Synopsis
It all starts when Gokudou steals a pouch from a fortuneteller, thinking that it contains a gem. Instead, it turns out to be a rock, from which emerges Djinn. The genie grants Gokudou the standard three wishes, but our anti-hero doesn't think heavily about his wishes. Gokudou does get his wishes, though not exactly in the fashion that he expected. The best thing he gets out of his wishes is Honou no Maken, a magical sword that enables its owner to do fire attacks and it can be summoned from anywhere in the world. Even with an enchanted sword, Gokudou doesn't get much respect. He gets turned into a woman by Djinn, who is also a shapeshifter. He is followed by Rubette La Late, a potential love interest who is more interested in adventure, karaoke and outperforming Gokudou. He gets whapped on the head a lot, especially by the fortuneteller who reappears throughout the series just to plague Gokudou it seems. Later in the series, he gets another sidekick, a former evil magician named Prince, who is more handsome and a better womanizer than Gokudou.

Pretty good ending and I had really fun with all the adventure and unexpected moments happening around. It had a sense of uniqueness unlike some typical fantasies. I'm really happy to see Djinn got what he deserved. He's definitely my favorite character in the show.
This anime came full circle with the revelations in this episode, and it managed to be action-packed yet hilarious. I completely forgot about Seigei but was glad that he was doing great. To conclude, I'd say this is a pretty decent anime if you're in it for the laughs and not trying to overanalyse.
This episode was actually pretty wild and fun. I love how they showed signs of Gokudo's seriousness but still refuses to give in. I think the memories doesn't really matter to him and had a good way of saying how he perceives his life. I wonder how they will wrap up the show.
Gokudo going through whatever he had to in that dream was sort of justified after the things he put Rubetta through (extremely unnecessary btw). Rubetta has a much more admirable character compared to Gokudo, for sure. Also appreciated the conclusion to the mum and daughter, straight up adorable.
I can confidently say that all throughout the series, Gokudo never changed and never learned his lessons. It was fun till it lasted but then he just gotta experience another misfortune again. Rubette was actually sweet and really caring but I don't know, Gokudo is really trash.
I don't really like the episodes where Gokudo is ready to forsake his own friends for his selfish desires. Yeah, I know it was necessary, but there were better ways to go about it. With only two more episodes, I guess the conclusion will involve beating the last adversary who possessed the tribe leader.
To be honest, Granny left my mind ages ago and I didn't really expect that. But considering her ties with Gokudo, I should have known that she will eventually show up again. I'm relieved to see the ever loyal Djinn, really. The ending scenes was really funny, though.
