God Troubles Me 2nd Season

The earlier episodes definitely hooked me way more with their comedy than the finale did but I have to hand it to them. They landed the ending really well. Switching from a genuinely touching scene right back into a hilarious joke felt totally effortless, leaving things on a really nice and heartwarming note.

Huge disappointment right before the end of the season. Super repetitive filler, flat execution, and zero story progression. We are lucky the comedic vibe is still there.

Those tiger boys are beyond cute. The pacing felt so much better this time around compared to previous episodes. Really glad they avoided falling back into those same old repetitive storytelling traps.

Pretty wild and messy plot in this one. I'm definitely going to need a rewatch to fully catch everything that went down. On another note, Xing Dikui and Xing Tianji are getting hilarious. Either their comedy dialed up out of nowhere or I just completely missed how funny they were all along.

Definitely my least favorite entry up to this point. The overall pace felt a bit sluggish and heavy on the sad vibes though I appreciate that the director still managed to sprinkle in a few funny moments to lighten the mood.

Even with all the new faces being added to the mix, I love that Su Moting’s priceless reactions still take center stage. The humor definitely stays focused right where it belongs.

What an absurdly funny combination. It’s absolute chaos for Su Moting, but her ridiculous reactions to the whole mess were hilarious as always. Honestly though, this episode hit a surprisingly touching note amidst all the comedy.

Love that we're meeting even more characters. I'd definitely be down to see this new side character get way more screen time. Her expressions matched Su Moting's so well that it made everything twice as hilarious.

Su Moting's expressions literally had me dying. Props to the animators for pulling off so many ridiculous face shapes for her. You can tell how much work went into that. That exaggerated art style is honestly what makes the show so hilarious.

Honestly impressive how much story they manage to pack in while keeping the pacing super quick. Having so many episodes lets them deliver fully finished and super engaging plotlines every single time.

Loved how hilarious this episode was. The cast had me cracking up with their goofy antics. I did catch a few weird subtitle mistakes though. They kept swapping "his" and "her" in the translations.

Great beginning. And I notice something. Lol this was so funny. The animation quality might be a bit mid-budget but their designs are super solid. Haha. The cast had me dying.

This was quite a roller-coaster of comedy plots and expressions, continuing what had started in S1. The animation drastically improved with fine details in the artwork, and the pacing was great in the first few episodes. However, I was not quite satisfied with how it ended, literally in the last few eps before the finale. But I have some good laughs once again on some interesting eps.

Whoa, that ending credits scene was by far a more intriguing cliffhanger than this entire ep. I was quite disappointed with how it turned out. Not worth a season finale, in my own opinion but those broken fragments visual was somehow familiar. The plot was messy but Moting's strong personality literally knocked that lord out.

It was quite a disappointing ep nearing the season's end. The repetitive scenes filled the entire episode again and again. Tianji's greeting "Good afternoon, Ting", was the only remarkable one for me. It was rather funny but the tone throughout the episode was bland and with no progression in the story.

This was an interesting episode, as the three protagonists have the same dream, goal, and fan base. The Tiger Boys were so adorable, too. The high-stakes tension of this ep was caused by the high competition. Felt nostalgic with the romper ghost. Seeing that again reminded me of the Chinese movies I watched before, particularly that classic ED made for this ep. Peak ED!

The plot was not very appealing to me, too chaotic. Not having that big impact and a solid story—a weak storyline. That God came out of nowhere—that was pretty much everything I remembered and boom—together with Tianji and Dikui, the gods were on stage. It would be much more interesting if Tianji's and Dikui's studying were prioritized. Also, the pacing caused some issues with the sudden shift of the plot theme.

This was quite a decent ep compared to the last three or four, and most probably my least fave. The plot was narrative-driven as Moting struggles with her personal concerns. The pacing was slowed down and I dropped my mobile phone dozing off a little watching this. The tone was worrisome but nice to have two guys supporting Ting. Not expecting the sun's face, though. The animation was amazingly great in this, probably the peak by far.

Another epic ep! Peak comedy! The fables told were hilarious. I thought the pacing would slow down with the random appearance of a character, but the pace was smooth sailing. The animation was perfect and it was drastically much better in this season. The boy didn't need help at all and the three didn't do anything. Ting's depressing mood is easily conveyed in the starting scenes.

Moting was evil, indeed! Truly merciless, no doubt! This was the most chaotic but peak ep so far! Nice to see the roach back. Thought for a second I was watching a different anime on the first scenes, with all new characters shown. Had the best laugh on this ep so far. The moves of Moting and Tianji when the roach pointed at them was remarkbly funny to me. The tone was emotional in that ending scene but hilarious.
