Kensei Muguruma is a highly skilled and powerful Shinigami, possessing a diverse range of abilities honed over his long career as a captain of the Gotei 13 and his time as a Visored. His strengths lie in his exceptional swordsmanship, mastery of hand-to-hand combat (Hakuda), and impressive Shunpo speed. He is also a master of Kidō, though this is less prominently displayed than his other skills. His Zanpakutō, Tachikaze, allows him to manipulate wind and energy, culminating in devastating explosive attacks in both its Shikai and Bankai forms. His Bankai, Tekken Tachikaze, transforms his Zanpakutō into powerful knuckle blades that unleash explosive force upon impact, further amplified by his already considerable strength. Kensei's Hollowfication grants him a significant power boost, enhancing his physical attributes and adding to his already formidable combat prowess. As a Visored, Kensei possesses a unique blend of Shinigami and Hollow powers. His Hollow mask enhances his speed, strength, and durability, allowing him to withstand significant damage and deliver devastating blows. His Hollowfied form is even more powerful, granting him immense strength and speed, though it is unclear how long he can maintain this transformation. His experience and battle acumen are also significant assets, allowing him to adapt to various opponents and combat situations effectively. He demonstrates exceptional perception in battle, quickly identifying and countering his opponents' techniques. Despite his considerable power, Kensei's Hollowfication has a time limit, restricting the duration he can utilize his enhanced abilities. This limitation, along with his sometimes impulsive and short-tempered nature, can be exploited by skilled opponents. However, his overall skill, power, and experience make him a formidable opponent in any situation.
