turtlerunstudiosrated Girls' Last Tour
A breathtaking anime that takes place in a post apocalyptic world; traversed by two adorable girls making their way through the levels. Their adventures are fun made even so by their conflicting personalities, I just love it when the pragmatic and the carefree plucky nature collide in epic fashion. But beneath the fun and hijinks the atmosphere is heavy, with a dark history you’ll uncover as the girls travel onward.

the pragmatic vs plucky contrast is what kept me coming back too, their little back-and-forths carried the whole thing. that heavy quiet under the fun is exactly what stuck with me after.
I know, that’s what kept drawing me in, I have fond memories watching it. So much so I sought out the manga to continue the journey where the anime left off, it was a bittersweet story.
