Synopsis
At his school, Sousuke is just another guy who can only watch the Nanase sisters from a distance. Arisa and Mika are the school's top social tier — the kind of popular that feels untouchable. Then his dad comes home with news: he's remarried, and his new wife happens to be the Nanase sisters' mother. Overnight, Sousuke goes from hopeless admirer to literal step-brother. That shift is where things get complicated. The two sisters react to this new family arrangement very differently, and navigating life under the same roof with girls you barely know — girls the whole school worships — turns out to be a lot messier than anyone planned. At two episodes, this OVA from Pink Cat doesn't waste time on slow burns. It leans straight into the awkward, charged tension that comes with suddenly sharing a home with strangers who are now technically family. If you've watched something like Ai Shimai: Futari no Kajitsu or Kyosei Waisetsu Shimai and appreciated that mix of school setting with complicated relationship dynamics, this hits a similar note. The setup is classic step-sibling drama wrapped in a high school social hierarchy that adds another layer of pressure to every interaction. It's a short watch, the premise does most of the heavy lifting, and it delivers exactly what it sets out to do without overcomplicating things.
