📖 SYNOPSIS

Centuries from now, humanity's progress has stalled due to depleted resources, dividing the world into "Units." Hajiki Sanada resides in Unit 74's "Night Town," a place plunged into darkness every midnight. His life changes when he encounters a GAD, an object that reacts to organic feelings and reconstructs materials. Upon contact, the GAD transforms into a massive robot, a Tekkoudo, which Hajiki names Lightning. He quickly realizes he's not unique; others possess Tekkoudo as well. The anime explores Hajiki's journey to understand these individuals who share his newfound ability, and the implications of their shared power in a world struggling to survive. The story focuses on the nature of these GADs and the feelings that shape their transformations.
