Futei with... The Animation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Kaoru and Satsuki are married women who decide to escape their everyday lives with a quiet hot spring getaway — just the two of them, no husbands, no responsibilities. It sounds like a relaxing girls' trip, but things take a sharp turn when they cross paths with a group of men who pull them into a drinking session. What follows explores the blurry territory between temptation and choice, as the women find themselves caught up in a situation that tests the boundaries of who they are outside their marriages. The hot spring setting gives everything a hazy, intimate atmosphere, and the single-episode runtime keeps things focused without much buildup. It's adapted from a manga, and studio Seven's animation handles the character designs with enough detail to make the emotional undercurrent feel grounded rather than purely surface-level. The story leans into the psychological tension of two women navigating desires they probably didn't anticipate confronting on what was supposed to be a peaceful trip. If you've watched Toriko no Kusari or Shoujo-tachi no Sadism The Animation and appreciated that mix of internal conflict and explicit content, this sits in similar territory. Fans of Kanojo ga Nekomimi ni Kigaetara might also find the character-focused framing familiar. It's a single OVA, so the investment is minimal — one sitting, straightforward premise, and a tone that takes its characters seriously enough to make the setup feel like more than just an excuse for what follows.
