Futa-bu!!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Joining her high school's Futanari Club, Akane Niimura discovers a small group of four girls with a very specific shared trait and an unofficial agenda that goes well beyond the club's stated purpose of researching local festivals. The two-episode OVA follows the club on a trip to the Manra Valley onsen, where the hot springs have a reputation for certain... stimulating effects, and the research quickly becomes secondary to everything else happening. This is a short, lighthearted hentai from Studio 9 Maiami, adapted from a manga, and it leans fully into its niche. The Girls Love elements are central rather than incidental, and the futanari focus is the whole point: if that's not your thing, this obviously isn't for you, but if it is, the tone here is warm and playful rather than harsh or uncomfortable. Akane's perspective as the newcomer integrating into an established group gives it a loose character dynamic that keeps things from feeling completely disconnected between scenes. At two episodes, it's a quick watch with no real plot ambitions beyond what it sets out to do. If you've seen Futa-bu! Mix: Futanari World or Futa-Ane: Bitter & Sweet and enjoyed that corner of the genre, this fits comfortably alongside those. It's not trying to be anything more than a breezy, niche hentai OVA, and within those expectations, it delivers what fans of the genre are looking for.

The character designs are super detailed and seeing the club members interact in the valley was great
The aphrodisiac water plot is pretty basic but the animation holds up well enough for a first episode
I found the shift from the boring school talk to the actual action at the springs really smooth and the pacing did not drag at all
When they start talking about the harvest festival, you know things are about to get crazy at that onsen
The hot springs setting is such a classic move and the art style really nails the character designs during the bath scene
that scene in the main pool where the water starts taking effect on everyone was heavy and the voice acting really sold the desperation
those first fifteen minutes felt way too slow and they spent too much time talking before anything actually happened in the bath
you can tell they spent a lot of time on the background art of the valley, especially during the walk up to the springs and the music in that scene was very relaxing
the way the steam worked in the bath scenes actually added to the mood instead of just being annoying and the ending was a total cliffhanger
finding out what futabu actually stood for made me laugh because their research project excuse is so thin
The setup with the club project was a bit silly but the visuals really delivered once they got to the hot springs. I enjoyed seeing how the different girls reacted to the aphrodisiac water in the pools. The designs for the main group are actually quite distinct and the animation quality held up surprisingly well during the more intense scenes in the bath house
bath house visuals looked way better than the opening scene and seeing them lose control from the water was pretty wild
it is pretty funny how they pretend this is a school project and then the aphrodisiac springs just ruin all their plans for the night
manra valley looks like a nice setting for this club to let loose and the character designs are really detailed
having the water change everyone so fast was my highlight and the way the girls acted in the springs was pure chaos
This is exactly what the title promised and that harvest festival lore is basically just an excuse for them to get wild in the valley
Watching the club members lose it in the aphrodisiac water was a lot and the art style is really detailed for this kind of show
The leader acting like they were actually there for a serious project, because the transition into the hot springs chaos was just way too sudden
The hot springs setting looks great and those girls are definitely not doing any actual research for their school trip after that water started kicking in
My thoughts on the school project excuse were that it would never work but they actually got to the hot springs and it got messy in a hurry
Futa-bu!!
