📖 SYNOPSIS

"Fusuma no Oku" explores the unique Japanese folklore of Red Uncleanness, or blood defilement. The anime centers on a young girl whose mind operates with a disjointed, unpredictable flow of thoughts. To manage this internal chaos and the external world, she confines her various thoughts within the reflective surfaces of mirrors and the enclosed spaces behind sliding doors. This act of containment becomes her method of navigating the outside world. The narrative delves into the girl's attempts to control her thoughts, the implications of Red Uncleanness, and the symbolic significance of the physical barriers she creates to separate her inner world from the external environment.
