The humor comes from the friction between Daitou's rural common sense and the absurdity of his new urban surroundings, plus the group dynamic where nobody is quite on the same page about anything. This is a 26-episode ONA adapted from a manga, and it's pitched at a younger audience, so the comedy stays light and the stakes stay low.
