As always, this anime delivers superb action with its militaristic mecha battles while perfectly balancing the comedy and romantic relationship between Sousuke Sagara and Chidori Kaname. Overall, this movie remains incredibly enjoyable because of its well-written story, compelling character development, and surprising depth. The visuals and animation also hold up remarkably well even up to this day. For me, this anime is still a solid 10/10!
