i enjoyed this movie~!! its a film for life.. for me its a very-lowkey movie. the art was beautiful, especially those shots of the town from up the hill was so stunning ✨ the art was almost comparable to that of ghibli, except more expressive. Nikuko's character is indeed carefree, the introduction is told with great pride and admiration of her strength. 🥹 Nikuko is a good mother and Kikuko is also a good daughter, i feel very emotional with their Mother-Daughter moments. everything about them feels genuine and heartwarming. overall, the animation is absolutely stunning and the characters are funny, compelling, and relatable. 💖 i do recommend this for those who enjoy slice of life and drama anime. Jya neh~! 😉
