Flowers

"Flowers" follows a young woman who yearns to dance but finds herself without the natural aptitude. The narrative centers on her journey to develop her skills, exploring the concept that talent isn't something to be simply acquired, but rather something that complements what is already present. The animation emphasizes the importance of continuous effort and dedication, likening the protagonist's growth to the cultivation of a flower. The goal is to keep the easily wilted "flower" blooming beautifully. This animated work was created by Toyomi Morishita as a 1st Year Work in 2011, produced at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.
