Fairy Forest Remi-chan
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Remi-chan is a fairy with a past he hasn't quite made peace with, living deep in an enchanted forest. Visitors who wander into his domain find their desires fulfilled, but there's something lurking underneath that easy fantasy — unresolved emotions that could tip into tenderness or something far more volatile. The story doesn't let you settle into pure escapism without hinting that things might get complicated. This 2000 single-episode OVA from Obtain Future leans hard into the fairy-tale aesthetic, wrapping its adult content in lush forest imagery and a protagonist with genuine narrative weight. It's a short watch, so it moves fast, but the framing of Remi-chan as a character with history rather than just a fantasy prop gives it a slightly different texture than you'd expect from the genre. If you've seen Miyuki-chan in Wonderland and liked the idea of a surreal fantasy world built around desire and strange encounters, this scratches a similar itch with a more emotionally ambiguous edge. Fans of Shizuku-chan's softer fantasy framing might also find the enchanted-forest setting familiar territory. Don't go in expecting a slow burn — at one episode, it's more of a vignette — but it's a curious little piece for anyone drawn to adult content that at least tries to dress itself in something more layered than average.
