Zero shared continuity across twelve different couples and twelve different love stories, that's the structure of Eternity: Sweet Love Story, a 2020 ONA anthology adapting works from the Eternity Books manga label. Each episode drops you into a brand new romance with entirely fresh characters. Episode one follows Mika, a 29-year-old novelist who goes on a matchmaking date with Shiho, a tall security professional. He's unexpectedly sweet, and when he floats a marriage proposal early on, the story leans into that tension between guarded feelings and genuine connection. Episode two shifts completely; a woman named Honoka breaks her leg in an accident involving a handsome architect named Hayato, and he insists on taking her in while she recovers. Different setup, similar warm romantic tone. The anthology format means if one story doesn't click with you, the next episode is a clean slate with new people and a new situation. It's sensual and intimate throughout, with both censored and uncensored versions available depending on what you're looking for.
