Let's talk about the positives first. First of all, I really love the craftsmanship. Whether it's the animation, visuals, art, sound effects, or music, they're all amazing. To be honest, if not for this level of quality, I'd rate this series much lower.

Story-wise, the lore itself isn't bad, but the writing is just bad. The characters are stupid, the logic is weak, and some moments are honestly pretty cringe. I also hate how the story constantly glazes Akira, trying so hard to make him look cool. I'd be fine with that if he weren't so stupid, but he is, so it just doesn't work for me.

On another note, I also hate how shallow Amoru's character is. The story really does her dirty by making her feel more like an extra than a main character. She has almost nothing to contribute until much later in the story, and even then, it feels forced. She's simply there for the sake of being there.

What I hate the most is how bait-y the first episode feels. It was seriously promising. The story, the craftsmanship, the lore, and the potential all looked great, but it ultimately ended up feeling sloppy, which was incredibly disappointing.

Overall, I'd rate this series a 5/10. Very mid.
