Dragon Rider
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A brutal war between rival dragon clans ended a decade ago, and the world has finally settled into peace — but that peace is fragile, and not everyone who lost stayed gone. Rike is a young man with a straightforward goal: become a Dragon Knight, make his father proud, and prove himself worthy of Princess Lydia. What he doesn't expect is to stumble into a small village and meet Karisu, a girl who initially thinks he's a thief and who turns out to be hiding something considerably more dramatic than a bad temper. She can transform into a dragon, the remnants of the Dragon Devil clan are stirring again, and Rike's simple career ambitions are about to get complicated. This is a mid-90s fantasy hentai OVA, so if you're coming in expecting a slow-burn epic, recalibrate. At two episodes, it moves fast. The appeal is the blend — there's a genuine fantasy adventure setup with warring clans, sealed villains, and dragon lore, wrapped around the erotic content rather than just using fantasy as a thin excuse for it. Karisu's transformation sequences are visually the standout, with that detailed hand-drawn style that defined the era. If you appreciated the world-building underneath something like La Blue Girl or the darker fantasy atmosphere of Demon Beast Invasion, Dragon Rider scratches a similar itch. It's not trying to be profound. It's a compact fantasy adventure with explicit content, and it delivers exactly what it promises without overstaying its welcome.
