Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Goku and Vegeta have fought gods, erased universes, and punched their way through basically every power ceiling imaginable. So what do you throw at them next? An ancient goat sorcerer who eats planets. Moro is a villain who's been locked away for ten million years, and instead of raw strength, he uses magic — draining the life force out of entire worlds just by touching down on them. That's a problem even for Saiyans who can go blue. The setup here is pretty different from the usual Dragon Ball formula. The Galactic Patrol, basically intergalactic space cops, recruit Goku and Vegeta because Moro has broken out of prison and they're desperate. So now our guys are working under someone else's authority for once, which leads to some genuinely funny dynamics. The world-building expands in ways the series hasn't really explored before — you get new characters, new corners of the universe, and a threat that can't just be punched harder until it stops. If you liked the escalation in Naruto: Shippuden where villains kept getting more conceptually dangerous, or if you're into how One Piece constantly expands its world, this arc scratches a similar itch. Bleach fans who enjoyed enemies with weird, rule-breaking abilities will appreciate Moro's magic-based toolkit too. The animation is a step up from earlier Dragon Ball Super, and the tone stays true to what the franchise does best — high-stakes fights wrapped in genuine comedy.
