Dragon Ball Super: Broly
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Born around the same time, Goku, Vegeta, and Broly are three Saiyan babies who each get dealt a completely different hand. Goku lands on Earth, Vegeta grows up as royalty, and Broly gets exiled to a barren wasteland planet because King Vegeta saw his power level and got paranoid. Decades later, after the events of the Tournament of Power, Goku and Vegeta run into Broly for the first time, and it turns out all those years of surviving on a hostile world made him absurdly strong. Like, a problem neither of them can handle alone kind of strong. What makes this movie work beyond the obvious fight scenes, which are genuinely some of the best animated sequences Toei has ever produced, is that it takes time to flesh out who Broly actually is. He's not just a rage monster this time around. You get his backstory, you understand why he fights, and it gives the whole thing actual weight when fists start flying. The animation style got a serious overhaul here, blending CG and traditional techniques in a way that makes every punch land harder than anything in the TV series. If you enjoyed Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan but wished it had better writing and modern production values, this is exactly that. Fans of big-screen anime brawls like One Piece Film: Z or the Naruto Shippuden movies will feel right at home too. You don't need deep Dragon Ball Super knowledge to enjoy it, just know Goku and Vegeta are strong, and someone stronger just showed up.

One of the best db movies out there
Dragon Ball Super: Broly is a good narrative that conquers to revitalizes the franchise by looking to the past. The film's brilliance lies in its extended first act, which beautifully rewrites the tragic history of Planet Vegeta. By exploring the tense politics of Frieza's galactic empire and the doomed Saiyan race, it provides a poignant backstory that grounds the entire modern conflict. Reimagining Broly's cruel exile and tying it directly to the intertwined origins of Goku and Vegeta injects massive emotional weight into the lore. The eventual transition into a full animation masterclass of kinetic, dimension-shattering combat feels entirely earned rather than like empty spectacle. It perfectly bridges deep historical world-building with pure, unadulterated shonen hype. A definitive must-watch!
So so
Pure hype from start to finish! The plot is simple but effective, serving as a perfect setup for the most explosive fights in Dragon Ball history. Gogeta and Broly completely stole the show. Studio Toei really outdid themselves with the visual style here
goated, very worth the $10 to see on the big screen. going super saiyan & seeing broly get his time in todays's age the little child inside me is overjoyed
This is the one of the best ever created in the franchise. I loved the action and visual effect when they are fighting.
After the famous Dragon Ball Z saga and the development of its main characters, this movie reveals the story and conditions leading up to the events we already know, such as Goku's beginnings or the relationship between the Super Saiyans and Freezer with more depth and expansion
What a movie! Most of it are full of battle, like 3/4 of the movie. With great director Tatsuya Nagamine, and character design by Naohiro Shintani, this is the most well paced, beautiful model and animation of Dragon Ball to date. Also now Broly as a character is now canon.
It delivers visually stunning action scenes with well-synced battles and impactful transformations, climaxing in the fusion of Goku and Vegeta. However, its fast pacing and heavy focus on action limit character interaction and narrative depth.
I have waited for decades to know who "Broly" is, and this film answers that question! This film gives a bit of origin to some the original characters and also introduces some great new ones. If you were ever a fan of any of the Dragon ball series, this is a "must see" watch!
A very stunning visual anime..full packed with action..a nice introduction of new character and power ups
The whole movie was action-packed filled to the end. I enjoyed every single second of this movie and the action scenes were phenomenal!!!! Can't say no to this legendary masterpiece of a movie!

Technically impressive and narratively satisfying. The fight choreography is extraordinary and the film does a remarkable job integrating Broly into the canon. A benchmark for action animation in the franchise.

That's the power of Broly , totally different concept that the previous Broly movie but damn the Legendayr Super Saiyan hit different , Just the pure overpower guy rivaling the god
