This episode gave us Kuro's long-awaited backstory, and it was much darker than I expected. Seeing him struggle with frightening visions while being manipulated by a cult was genuinely unsettling. It also showed why he became so attached to Dr. Ramune. I'm glad we already know he'll be saved, but I'm excited to see exactly how Ramune turns the situation around.
