Synopsis
One day, Yuuji Fujiwara arrives home to find a girl sitting in his apartment, except she's not exactly a girl. She's a slime creature that's been quietly living with him for the past three months, and she's finally decided to introduce herself. She can talk, she can shapeshift, and she's apparently been watching him long enough to develop feelings. To get closer to him, she takes the form of Takamiya, his younger coworker who spends most of her time at work scolding him. It's a weird situation, and the show leans into that weirdness fully. The shape-shifting angle gives the story a fantasy hook that sets it apart from straightforward romance setups: there's a genuine curiosity built into the premise around identity and what it means when someone can literally become whoever you want them to be. It's a 2-episode OVA adapted from a manga, so the pacing is tight and it doesn't overstay its welcome. If you've watched something like Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo and wanted a more fantastical twist on the cohabitation setup, this scratches that itch. Fans of Resort Boin who enjoy a softer, character-driven approach rather than pure spectacle will probably find something here too. It's not trying to be anything more than what it is, a short, low-stakes adult fantasy story with an unusually creative premise at its center.

You really have to wonder about the origins of that pink entity when it shows up near the bridge right before someone dies and then it ends up in some guys house as a shapeshifting lover
The bridge scene at the start caught me off guard because it set such a grim tone before the actual plot kicked in and I think the most interesting part is how the slime creature targets his specific desires by turning into Takamiya and that university girl, which makes the whole situation feel much more manipulative than just a normal supernatural setup
Watching that slime transform into his coworker felt very invasive and the fact that it has been living in his apartment for an entire month without him knowing is such a creepy discovery
How that pink slime creature can mimic the smell and feel of anyone is actually terrifying and it makes you wonder how long it has been watching Yuuji from the shadows
It hit me hard seeing Yuuji get fired, but that mucus creature popping up out of nowhere definitely changed the mood of the night fast.
I was not expecting that weird intro with the girl jumping off the bridge because it felt way too dark and then the pink blob is just addicted to him and turns into Takamiya
Yuuji is having the worst day in history until a slime monster decides to seduce him and seeing his miserable day turn around like that was satisfying
That transformation scene near the end had some solid animation and it was a clever way to link his work life stress to the monster girl stuff
The sequence where the creature explains it stayed hidden for months is such a bizarre way to start a romance but it works for the weird vibe they are going for
Watching that girl transform from a blob into the mean coworker was a wild turn and the dialogue was actually pretty funny for a show like this
Takamiya is a total brat but seeing the slime version of her act all sweet and clingy made that ending so much fun
The way that creature just casually admitted it had been hiding in his house for three months was so creepy and weirdly sweet at the same time
Poor Fujiwara keeps getting blamed for everything at work and then he comes home to a slime monster in his apartment
I really felt bad for Yuuji during that convenience store scene, especially when Takamiya was being a total brat for no reason. It made the twist with the slime girl transforming into her way more interesting. The animation for the transformation was surprisingly fluid for a short like this and it really caught me off guard how much she liked him.
I found it hilarious when the slime creature changed into that coworker because that girl was actually such a jerk to Yuuji and it was funny seeing her lookalike being obsessed with him instead
The mechanics of how the slime absorbs information to mimic people is actually pretty interesting, especially when it takes the form of Takamiya. It goes beyond just the looks because the creature copies her personality and thoughts too. You get this weird feeling watching Yuuji realize he has been living with a monster for months without even knowing it.
seeing the slime say it was in love with him for three months while hiding in the corners of his room was actually kind of creepy but my favorite part was the transformation
the first half was just yuuji getting bullied at work and his bad luck is almost too much to watch but the slime reveal at the end changes everything
you can tell yuuji is struggling with his own morals while that pink creature is basically offering him anything he wants and the tension in his apartment is actually pretty crazy
starting with his coworker was a great choice because the slime even had her personality down and that reveal where it mimics her thoughts really impressed me
