Dokidoki Oyako Lesson: Oshiete H na Obenkyou
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Two private tutoring arrangements pull Atsushi into increasingly complicated territory — one student named Arisa, another named Maya, both from separate families, both with more than academics on their minds. Straightforward enough, except both of them have more than academics on their minds, and the professional boundary between tutor and student starts getting complicated fast. That tension between what's appropriate and what's actually happening is the whole engine of this thing. It's a 2-episode OVA adapted from a Tinker Bell visual novel, so if you've played the source material, you already know the vibe — and if you haven't, it's a pretty faithful translation of that slow-burn, forbidden-relationship energy those games tend to do well. The contemporary Japanese domestic setting keeps everything grounded rather than fantastical, which makes the dynamic feel more intimate than your average entry in this genre. If you liked the teacher-student tension that shows up in the edges of something like Happy Lesson or Doki Doki School Hours, this goes fully into that territory without dancing around it. It's a short commitment at two episodes, so it doesn't overstay its welcome — it sets up the situation, leans into the awkward chemistry between Atsushi and both girls, and lets the forbidden-relationship angle do the heavy lifting. Worth a watch if that specific flavor of taboo romance is what you're after and you want something that gets to the point.
