Synopsis
Futaba Higuchi attends an ordinary high school with one very irregular problem: she can't control her sexual urges, and they don't wait for convenient moments. We're talking classrooms, hallways, wherever. That's the setup for Discode: Ijou Seiai, a 3-episode OVA from 2004 based on an erotic visual novel by Soft Circle Courreges. The story pulls in two other characters, Kagekiyo and Kyoka, who get drawn into Futaba's world as her struggle to keep things together starts affecting her relationships and daily life. There's an actual narrative thread here around identity and desire rather than just stringing scenes together, which gives it more structure than you'd expect going in. The tone is explicit throughout — this is firmly in hentai territory, no question — but it leans into character motivation more than a lot of similar titles bother to. If you've watched something like Bible Black or La Blue Girl and wanted something a little more grounded in a school-life setting, this sits closer to that end of the spectrum. If Night Shift Nurses was your entry point into older OVA-era hentai, the production style here will feel familiar. It's short, it commits to its premise, and Futaba's internal conflict gives the explicit content a bit more weight than the runtime might suggest.
