Discipline: The Hentai Academy

Saint Arcadia School gains one of its first male students when Takuro Hayami transfers to what was previously an all-girls academy. He's excited about the living situation. What he doesn't know is that the female students are aggressively, relentlessly interested in him, but and not in a subtle way. Within the first couple of episodes, his roommate Yuuki figures out that Takuro has a particular... talent, and word spreads fast. The tone is part erotic, part absurd comedy, as Takuro stumbles through a school environment that operates on completely different rules than anywhere he's been before. The early 2000s animation from Studio 9 Maiami has that specific hand-drawn texture that fans of that era tend to either love or feel nostalgic about; it's very much a product of its time, adapted from a visual novel with the same premise. If you've watched something like Bible Black or Angel of Darkness and want something with a slightly more comedic undertone and a school setting, this sits comfortably in that space. The power dynamic between Takuro and the various students around him carries most of the series' appeal. It's a 6-episode OVA from 2003, so the commitment is low. Go in knowing what it is: a hentai with light comedy and a straightforward setup, and it delivers exactly that without pretending to be anything else.
