Out of the review for a little bit, but this is the exact episode where I knew where the anime is going. I understood right away they wanted the watcher to feel the despair more lol. Regardless, I really find this episode fun, as we finally see a mission with JPs would be like. It's tense and the consequences are real. And I love how it dawned on Hibiki, and maybe the others too, that this is the reality they're living in now, and there's no escaping. And the way the anime ended with a hook is the cherry on top, making us want to see more from the anime.
