Together, Rio and Karen run a small detective agency, and they're good at their job. When a new case lands on their desk involving drugs and sexual assault, it's not just another file to close — it hits Rio personally. Her sister was killed by a gang tied to exactly this kind of crime, and the details of this new case suggest the same people might be back. Rio is hot-headed, which is understandable given what she's carrying, but that anger could easily blow the whole investigation. Her partner Karen and their apprentice Masafumi have to keep things from falling apart while Rio works through her own demons. This is a one-episode OVA from 2003, so it moves fast and doesn't waste time on setup.
