"Deko Boko Friends" is a series of animated short stories created by Maruyama Momoko and Kuwamoto Ryoutarou (m&k) with the goal of promoting harmony and understanding among children. The series features twelve distinct characters, each embodying a specific personality trait. These characters are designed to be amalgamations of traits found in various people, representing the diversity of human personalities. Each short focuses on a single character, bringing their prominent personality trait to life. The creators hope to instill in young viewers a broad-minded outlook and a capacity for tolerance, enabling them to accept and appreciate the differences they encounter in others.
