Deep Voice
Oshimeter
Synopsis
With no memory of how severe his accident was, Takumi comes to in an old Western-style hospital — and immediately discovers a very strange new problem. He can hear 'deep voices,' residual echoes of past events embedded in the hospital's walls and rooms, like psychic recordings nobody asked to leave behind. On top of that, when he falls asleep, he slips uninvited into other people's consciousness. Not exactly a restful recovery. Teaming up with Aki, another patient who takes his bizarre situation seriously, Takumi starts pulling on the threads of the hospital's murky history. Meanwhile, Dr. Hiroko is less interested in treating him and more interested in studying him, which adds a layer of unease to an already unsettling setup. The atmosphere here leans heavily into mystery and the supernatural — it has that eerie, isolated hospital dread where every corridor feels like it's hiding something. If you've watched Bible Black or anything in that vein where the plot actually matters alongside the adult content, this scratches a similar itch. It's closer to a supernatural mystery that happens to be an OVA than pure wish fulfillment. Fans of Discipline: The Record of a Crusade who appreciated when hentai OVAs put real effort into world-building will find something familiar here. Three episodes, 2002 production from Studio Jam, adapted from a visual novel — so the story feels structured rather than improvised.
