Deep Insanity: The Lost Child

Good season finale, good action scenes...final boss animation was thrash. The hype in the final episode was okay ngl. I hope there's no second season though

This is a fairly interesting episode, we get some explanation on the time repeat ability. There are some action scenes though the animations are bland. Looking forward to seeing how this show ends

The show got a little more interesting with this episode, some okay fights and good dialogues, some backstory for some late characters. An okay episode overall

This episode felt like a filler episode, it focuses more on two characters forming bonds and clearing the air between each other.

Ah, if only the game still exist... I can imagine what this adaptation meant to the original players before it went TOS, shit must've hurt. Lost Child is a bigger lore and variety to back up the main series of Deep Insanity, acting as it's prequel. There had been lacking moments, but the anime is somewhat enjoyable on it's own. I hope the dev find their footing again and try another shot at the series.

"Do you know the definition of insanity?" That famous line from a certain game immediately when Shigure starts his journey. Deep Insanity is such an apt title and description for what he's going through, can't imagine Vera's who also had the same power for far longer than Shigure did. Animation is still sad, but as a penultimate episode, it served it's purpose.

FUUUUU, WHY?! Pace is picking up, tension is at an all time high and yet the lackluster animation is ruining it! I'm a sucker for time loop plot, but even I can't defend this one when the animation is so half-assed!!! Phew. Rants aside, if only they wrapped the early stages and build up, I genuinely think Lost Child would be a much more meaningful adaptation...

WOO, finally some meaningful character development! Now that we got more information about Vera and her ability, things starts make sense. It's great to see her slightly disoriented and show a more cute and human side as she tried everything to just avoid a simplt BBQ party instead of the usual stoic and nonchalant attitude. I'm oshi for this woman!

This episode was a snooze fest, the animations are okay... there's an unexpected plot twist towards the end

I like the hopeful tone of the whole episode and Shigure's hairstyle change, it suits him and it's a little detail to denote how he grew throughout the series. The ending packed it's punch, I still feel the series needed a bit more of development but it's good for what it is.

So good so far, I like when timeloop plots let us see multiple loops. I thinks there's some minor threads that haven't been developed enough to care like Iceman being such a threat and the little Vera reveal.

I like the episodes better when they focus on Vera because I just think her deal with the timeloop is more interesting but it makes sense why we don't since she's not the protagonist. Other than that, the end of the episode was good, I just hope the final two will carry on the momentum.

This episode was more of interpersonal relationships with a little insight to one of the characters. Pacing is still a bit slow. The storyline so far is meh, probably too early to judge.

Not really a strong pilot episode in my opinion. I hope the show picks up with the pacing. The animations are good so far

Oh, things are about to get even more confusing with the additional revelation we got from this episode regarding Vera. I've got to say introducing new characters and new variables this late in the show is hardly the wisest decision the writers took as it doesn't necessarily make the show more engaging or anything.
