Feels more like a prelude to the rest of the Original Net Animation. The episode puts you right in the conflict, leaving viewers with questions that will want to be answered, which leads them into the ONA perfectly. Not flashy, but atmospheric and intense in all the right ways.
This ep feels like controlled chaos: slice-of-life vibes smashed into looming apocalypse dread. Very Asano—casual convos masking existential rot. It’s disorienting on purpose; you’re vibing, then boom—unease creeps in. Not flashy, but insanely deliberate.
