This one caught me off guard. The series suddenly shifts its focus and throws the cast into a situation that feels completely different from the usual formula. Despite all the absurd comedy and trademark degeneracy, there's a surprisingly entertaining character driven angle running through the episode. The tonal whiplash somehow works, and watching everyone adapt to the changing circumstances is half the fun. It's weird even by Daimidaler standards, which is saying a lot.
