saikyolvienrated D4DJ All Mix Episode 1 - Jan. "Beginning Beginning"
EH- BRUVVV, THIS ANIME HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL... Alright, I found a few extra points for this season (and the series as a whole). First of all, the 3D CG. Yeah, we all know it's one of D4DJ's most iconic aspects. The way it blends 3D animation with a 2D art style is genuinely impressive. They don't just throw 3D and 2D together randomly, they build the world and its environments around both styles, which is exactly why the visual presentation works so well. 2nd, the music is absolutely fire. Every unit has its own unique vibe and musical identity, yet the anime manages to bring all of them together naturally this season. Great music is a huge plus for any music anime, so that's definitely an extra point. Third points, I like how bold the first episode is. There's no unnecessary filler, they get straight to the point while still giving us a glimpse of a live performance right from Episode 1. It's a strong way to hook the audience. Those are my main positives and first impressions of D4DJ. Now for the complaints. The humor feels pretty dated and overused. Most of the jokes are the typical anime overreaction gags you've probably seen countless times before. That said, thanks to the wholesome atmosphere and adorable art style, this flaw doesn't really hurt the overall experience that much.
