Consider this episode as a bit of world exploration for the world that Number Six and Alice ended up in. There are three things I noticed that seem to have been skipped. First, the new guy who was supposed to be a reinforcement from Kisaragi wasn't properly introduced. Second, it seems that the people of this world have already acknowledged that Alice and Number Six are using science. Third, Snow's first experience using Kisaragi equipment in battle was skipped. I have to admit, though, the exploration aspect was pretty funny. The creatures have such bizarre names that it feels like they were named by someone from the Crimson Demon Clan 😆
