Number Six’s fight wasn’t off-screened, but it was still pretty underwhelming. What’s worse is the other battle that was off-screened just when things were getting interesting after Number Six successfully stalled Russell. Even the character development for each member of Number Six’s party feels like it was mostly glossed over. At this point, I’d rather just read the light novel (although after checking, it has apparently been on hiatus since 2022). The soundtrack isn’t bad, but J.C. Staff has clearly cut corners with the animation. The only thing I’m still looking forward to watch another episode in this anime is the story, but even that feels weakened by the omission of key details.
