The political layers are getting deeper with Shin taking command of the Holy Order. I appreciate how Leila isn't just a damsel — she actually makes strategic calls and holds her ground against the generals. Ryo's group joining wZERO added some much needed personality to the team. Pacing still feels uneven for an OVA format.

Synopsis
With her previous triumphs under her belt, Leila Malcal has now been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and commanding officer of W-0. After having foiled an attempt to kidnap the General of the European army, she recruits the three perpetrators in order to make up for the lack of W-0's pilots. Ayano Kosaka, Yukiya Naruse, and ringleader Ryou Sayama accept, in hopes of finding a place to belong. When they are ordered to perform a commando raid by dropping into enemy lines, Leila decides to join them to prevent unnecessary casualties. As the unit rushes into the fight, Akito finds himself possessed by an uncontrollable lust for violence, slaughtering anyone that gets in his way. The political intrigue deepens as we see both sides of the conflict developing. Shin's appointment to the Holy Order of Michael adds a menacing layer, and the connection between him and Akito creates genuine tension. The Paris scenes with Ryo and the underground Elevens feel grounded and give the series a human element beyond just mech battles. However, some of the EU military politics drag a bit and the episode tries to balance too many plot threads simultaneously.
