Code Geass: Akito the Exiled - The Wyvern Arrives

Interesting start to the Akito spinoff. The European setting gives the Code Geass universe a fresh perspective, and I liked seeing how Elevens are treated outside of Area 11. The Alexander mech designs are cool but Akito himself feels a bit too stoic for my taste this early on. The action carries it though.

I was expecting the worse but bro it was actually fun to watch idk maybe i’m just easily entertained 😭

Solid opening for the Akito OVA series. The worldbuilding establishes the European front of the Code Geass universe convincingly, and seeing the conflict from the EU perspective adds real depth. Akito's introduction as a capable but emotionally distant pilot works well, and the wZERO unit concept raises interesting questions about how Elevens are treated outside Britannia. The action choreography with the Alexanders is visually impressive but the pacing feels a bit rushed trying to set up so many characters at once.
