Chuhai Lips: In the Aftermath of Yui Koriyama
Oshimeter
Synopsis
At 22, college student Tsuyoshi's biggest commitment is to cheap canned chu-hai. That changes when Yui Kooriyama, a married woman his mom asked to check in on him, stops by his apartment. One drink leads to another, and things go exactly where you think they're going. This special episode picks up after that first encounter, zeroing in on how Yui keeps telling herself it won't happen again — right up until Tsuyoshi's jealousy over hearing about her husband flips the switch. There's a real tension between what these two know they should do and what they actually do once alcohol loosens the guardrails. The source manga uses an omnibus format, cycling through different married women with their own backstories and complications, but this one-episode special from Studio Raiose stays focused on Yui's arc and the messy emotional aftermath. The character designs lean more realistic than you'd expect for the genre — subtle facial expressions do a lot of the heavy lifting instead of exaggerated reactions. It plays things relatively grounded, which makes the whole dynamic hit harder. If you've watched stuff like Ane wa Yanmama Junyuu-chuu or Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo and wanted something with a bit more emotional weight between the explicit scenes, this is worth the twenty-odd minutes. Seinen erotica adapted from manga, one episode, no filler — it knows what it is and doesn't waste your time.
