Somehow, this show did the unthinkable. Viewers who think that this episode would follow the same formula as the previous ones are in for a nasty surprise. I didn't think the production staff had it in them, this is by far the darkest and most twisted moment of the entire show. It was the kind of setup reserved for pschological thrillers that for some reason found its way here. If this ends the way most fans expect, this would be euphoric. Now I understand why many consider this anime woefully underrated. I can only imagine what the finale has in store for us.
