We finally begin the third season of Chihayafuru with the Fujisaki karuta camp. We get flashback and recap at the beginning, which is nice, considering that this season took 6 years after season 2. (S2 only took 2 years after S1) We get to see Chihaya continue her journey with her left hand because what happened last season, and it's really refreshing seeing her interact with others outside of her circle, like Rion or Fujisaki's coach. We also get a not so subtle hint about what's about to come with Taichi this season, which is really exciting!
