📖 SYNOPSIS

Chein Kuro-Nikuru!! is a series of 12 short comedic animations that accompanied each episode of the anime Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari during its 2017 television broadcast. The title is a playful pun combining the Japanese pronunciation of "Chain Chronicle" and the term "kuro-nikuru," meaning "black shorts." ​ Each episode, approximately 30 seconds long, features chibi-style versions of the main characters engaging in humorous skits and parodies. These shorts provide a lighthearted contrast to the main series' more serious and dramatic narrative.​ In addition to Chein Kuro-Nikuru!!, there is a related series titled Kuro-Nikuru Girls, consisting of three episodes, each about three minutes long. This series focuses on the female characters of Chain Chronicle, offering comedic and school-themed scenarios.
