📖 SYNOPSIS

Thirty years ago, humanity was decimated by monstrous insects that mutated victims into rampaging Cagasters, half-human creatures that rapidly evolve. Exterminators like Kidou now dedicate their lives to hunting these threats, learning to distance themselves from normal people to effectively kill the Cagasters during their brief, still-human phase. Kidou's emotional detachment is challenged when he's tasked with returning a young survivor to her mother. Forced to protect her, he begins to question the depth of his buried emotions and the true cost of his profession in a world overrun by monstrous insects and the remnants of humanity.
