I have the say, this anime was certainly very unique with its premise. I really wished there were more episodes as the main trio just worked so well. The animation was very stylish and music was great, same for the action. I’m going to look up the manga now to see how it is.
The bonds grew between the three of the guys. I have to say, it’s also pretty unique to add in a new character in the middle of this short anime too. Really well done.
This anime certainly has a more old school look and I appreciate it. The story and characters are alright and might have more focus but it’s understandable since it’s a short show. I am intrigued into finding out what happens next.
This episode had none unnecesary fillers, a new character was introduced and seems to have importance on the story, in comparison to the other episode is clear the protagonists have a better relation.
This anime has a great story that sticks with you and invites to see the next episode, the opening and ending are not the most destacable ones, the animation looks olser than it actually is.
The episode was good, however, because of the story's short format, many elements are left unresolved, resulting in an open ending. Based on what is known, there are no plans to resume the story.
I have to admit, that felt incomplete. It seems to be more like an introduction to the story than a complete series. There are a lot of stuff they introduced in the last episode that never went anywhere. However, they did manage to make the main cast really likable in the short period of time that we spent with them. They manage to flesh them out well; their personalities, abilities, and backstories even if the last one was never truly explored in the end. So the overall verdict for me on this show is that it's simply average. Production-wise, nothing really improved in its runtime, but narratively speaking it has a lot of potential. Maybe one day it will get a better treatment, but right now I can only recommend it to curious fans who have a liking for this kind of genre.
If there was something that got better here from the previous episode, it's the cast's relationship with each other. They are getting more coordinated as the matches go on and each one is showing their unique contributions to the group as a whole. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same overall, let us see if there are any surprises left in the last episode, maybe it's where they put the most effort at.
The first episode introduces the characters, their personalities, and motivations in a lightning-quick pace. Considering that it has only three episodes, that's totally understandable. Still, there are a lot of indications that production was done in a rather lackadaisical manner; animations were stiff and character designs are a bit generic. This is balanced out, however, with the backstory of the main cast, which looks rather promising. I'd like to check out the series more to provide rightful verdict, but for now it was a nice attempt. Hope it improves as it goes.
