Broke and just trying to get through the night, Tashiro Shinji finds his evening upended when a naked alien girl named Julia materializes in his apartment out of a flash of light. She's not there for him specifically — she's searching for her elder sister, and Shinji just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time. That's the setup for Bakunyuu Shimai, a two-episode OVA from 2005 that leans hard into its sci-fi premise as a vehicle for its adult content. Julia's search eventually pulls in other characters, including Yuria and Alisa, weaving a small ensemble around what starts as a very simple alien-meets-struggling-human scenario. The animation carries that distinct mid-2000s hentai OVA look — not polished by modern standards, but with character designs that fans of the era tend to find appealing. The science fiction framing gives it a bit more personality than a purely grounded setup would, and if you're already a fan of titles like Bakunyuu Inma Shimai, the character design sensibility here will feel familiar. It's a short watch at two episodes, so there's no drawn-out pacing to get through. If you enjoy adult OVAs that at least bother to construct a premise before getting into things, this one delivers exactly what it promises within its runtime.
